Day 46

Been very busy finishing all my homework from my courses the past few days . Keeping my focus and attention to something that is far more important and rewarding rather than Gambling ! I'm so happy than I get to take care of my family and myself more than I did when I was gambling.

Thank you everyone for supporting me on my journey !

@WAI & Sharon41 thanks for taking your time to read my progress ! I hope you're both doing well yourself guys . Nice to have you both here .

@Matt cheers bud . Gonna make it there I promise you 😉

@idioto I'm glad to know that I've inspired you . Welcome to my diary . I hope you're doing well .

Well done Sars27

Great achievement on reaching day 46. Keep it going, so close to half century. I'm slowly following you currently on day 39. No urges or thoughts of gambling. Looking towards a better future, as my fiancГ©e has given me a chance to turn our relationship around with time obviously, taking it slow. Huge lift for me that was as I thought it was over!

Dear Sars,

what an achievement, almost 2 months for you! Your family are very lucky to have you, you're a tough cookie and clearly prepared to graft as much as it takes to be there for them.

And thank you for your continued support on my diary, I really appreciate it.

Day 48

Hi everyone ,

Life is looking so much better. I'm currently on a full time job as a physio and now I've applied for another source of income on the weekends doing morning shifts 🙂 . I'm loving life right now and I can't tell you how much self-respect and self-esteem I've regained since turning my life around.

@Sharon 41 I'm still fighting to stay GF one day at a time 🙂 thank you for staying with me . X

@Nevets hey buddy I'm expecting you to stay behind me .. we're both gonna take this race slow and steady. And now you've been given another chance always think that it's your " last " to stay more focus and appreciate the chance that your fiancГ© have given you ! Let's do this together 🙂

@lightsout hello there my friend 🙂 , I'm trying very hard for my family as they are the most important thing in my life . I'm telling you right now the only way I'm backing down is when I'm dead ! And thank you for staying with me too you're a big help 🙂

Sars

Again well done on changing your life around. I look forward to comments made by yourself and others as they are inspirational on how our journey goes. Believe me I do think of this chance as my 'last' knowing how close it really came to the end. And that in itself is all the motivation I need to beat this, without getting complacent, I know reading other people's posts it only takes '1 bet' to fall again. Things are starting to look up and will keep on being positive and keep climbing the ladder to success.

Stay safe everyone and gf.

Nev

Day 50!

50 days ago I was upset, depressed , sad , almost suicidal and angry. Today I am proud as I've stood up tall and never surrendered ! Stayed with the battle no matter what for my loving family ! I feel like a golden boy "50" days woohoo ! But as I have said before I'm a recovering addict so I will not get too complacent and I will try my best to stay gamble free for tomorrow . One day at a time !

@nev & Sharon thank you both for always supporting me ! I'm so happy to have friends like you here .
