We clearly don’t have a clue what we’re doing on here do we??:)). I worked all day and normally this time now would be my gambling time but not anymore. I just reread this diary/thread from the start, oh my lovely bunch of fruitbats we have come a long long way. Hats off to us all. Marypoppins and Sarah you need a treeeeeeeeet, think loopy but practical 🙂

Sosad. This is definetly your diary. We would not be here supporting each other if you didn’t start this conversation. So a big thank you to you

It is wonderful to come here and know you’re not alone. To get a laugh maybe a few tears, I feel accountable to you ladies and that helps me fight that voice that calls me to the casino.

And for the big win I had it. And it was the worst thing that could of happened to me. Gave every cent back and so much more. Turned me into a reckless fool ,

No winning for a cp.

I will work on my picture.

It’s so bizarre how we all feel accountable to each other, fab tho. I’m really confused with this diary thing tho, confused but happy.com. Maybe we should be the strongly confused mop gang?? 21 days gf tomorrow, o*g 21 days!!! Wouldn’tve done it without you bunch of nutcrackers:)))

Oh don’t get me wrong gals I’m not possessive over the diary just merely confused about the difference of a diary and a thread:) Still confused but that’s me all over. Wow 20 days lil-go the mop gang!!! I wish I could buy you all a drink, I’m raising my glass to you all, cheers to you fruitbats that are keeping us all strong. Mrs airwick I feel like I cheated on you today- I looked at expensive air fresheners!!! I should’ve stayed by the mops but I couldn’t help wandering down to them and well one thing led to another..... but it’s ok I didn’t buy one I stayed strong, I couldn’t buy one before you did:)))).

Hahaha you grab air fresheners too if you like my dear- and I agree with the others, it’s your diary/thread/mop memoires.. whatever it is it started with you so that’s all that counts. I’m going bed early and like you sosad, this would actually be the time I would be hitting the sites- not any more! My brain is happy to just go to sleep now! Can’t believe it. Well done to you ladies for all the gf days- I’m on day 10 tomorrow , it’s not much but to me it’s an eternity and I’m so happy and so grateful to you all. I borrowed twenty quid off my mum today because I am literally a bit skint - normally I would have justified gambling with it because I could “win more” ... then of course the shame and disgust would have hit with the inevitable loss. I’ve certainly turned a corner and it’s thanks to you xx

I’m with you so sad, not a bleeding clue how to start a diary or even a thread lol, you have a brilliant diary going on here, everyone laughing in the face of adversity. I would like laminate flooring in my front room lol

Laminate flooring?? That’s a bit posh for us sweetie! Couldn’t pegs make you happy?? On a serious note there is no reason why you couldn’t do your floor if you keep staying strong, just imagine how proud you would be. The floor would cost the same amount as I would put in a slot in one go and come out with nothing but your floor would be there forever. You can do it maryp I know you can. Tracy funnily enough my mum asked me the other day why I hadn’t borrowed of her this month, I simply said I don’t need to mum:))). That was such a good feeling, like you I borrow to pay bills but then gamble it instead. No more! I’m taking one of my twenty pound notes down today to get diesel, it’s my money, not borrowed, purely mine and it feels good. I have slept well for a whole week and it feels amazing. I never want to be that deceitful lying miserable sneak ever again. Keep smiling mop club we are kicking the casinos a*s!:)

I don't wish to intrude but would just like to congratulate the Mopettes for staying gamble free.

We all know how difficult it is to refrain from gambling but you ladies have shown great courage in the face of adversity. A good sense of humour can be a great asset when fighting the urges to gamble and you certainly have that in abundance.

I would like to wish you all every success on the journey ahead. May you find the peace, happiness and joy that you so richly deserve...stephen

So pegs are your treat Mary? Nice 🙂 yeh absolutely sosad, and a massive well done for not borrowing. I’ve usually lent a lot more than 20 quid by this time of the month and it felt good to borrow and spend it on what I needed, rather than making up some c**k n bull story... and yes! We are kicking the casinos a**e. Keep smiling, keep mopping - we are doing this in style lovelies :))

I feel both humbled and honoured to be invited into the mop club as an honorary member and am pleased to take you up on the offer.

For many years I have suspected that I was destined for something special and now it has come about.

I thought about the razor blades but decided they were a bit ordinary. After careful consideration, I decided to splash out on a mankini. I am 68 but if Rod Stewart can get away with it, than so can I ... Presently I am strolling along Scarborough beach to see how it feels. It is rather chilly but I am getting some admiring glances from passing seagulls...stephen x
