Thank you for your kind words. I do appreciate it. My mind isn’t on gambling at the moment. Feeling safe in the knowledge that I can’t gamble, even if I wanted to, is helpful. I guess I’m looking forward now, and seeing what my life is like without worrying about placing my next bet and whether it wins or not. I feel a lot more at ease and just want to make more out of my life, whilst being happy with what I’ve got. My overriding goal is 1 year to start with, but I’m taking each day at a time and celebrating milestones when I reach them. Thanks again to the people that are supporting me, it’s very kind.

102 days solid gamble free days. Feeling so much better. The football season starting has made me miss having a bet. It could be ok for months but eventually disaster would happen. I’m glad I’m not putting myself in that situation now

127 days, I was meant to comment on Wednesday but the days have been going by so quickly. I used to read comments where people have been doing well with not gambling and they would say that they couldn’t bring themselves to have one bet as it would make them sick. It literally frightens me to undo all of the work that I’ve done and that’s driving me on to never want to gamble again. Good luck to everyone on their journey.
