These are my gambling thoughts on my way to recovery.
Been gamble free since just before the new year. My mind and internal feel already at more calmness. And I believe this is because of being off the drug that is gambling. I had tried to quit gambling a few months before after realising it was destroying my whole life, absolutely everything but there were things I didn't come to peace with. Firstly that you cannot solve your issues of debt that you create from gambling by gambling again. It simply does not work. Because you are not gambling for the money. You think you are but you are not. You are doing it for the high that you recieve. Even when I had won money I couldnt keep hold of it because I came back to feel the buzz.
