Hi Alan, I know it will be over if I come clean, I just can't face the aftermath right now, after losing nearly all my retirement income, to lose my soulemate for ever is just too much to take. 14 days ago, I was OK, even though I was gambling, I had sufficient funds to make it through the next few years, now ..................... I'm just in a real bad place mentally now, I know I have to tell her, it's just the finality of never seeing her again. I'm weak.

I'm going to stand up and go again. This time I'm letting people in. Instead of just saying I'm fine.
I upset my wife last night when I told her how lost I feel.
And that's what has hurt me the most I don't want her to feel that it's somehow something she's done because it's not.
I can start by being more open with her.
Emotions are the hardest for me to talk about.
When I'm upset I hide it or I crawl into my shell. Something I need to work on. This is my last day one.
The only way is up

So today I'm very very busy...pipes to clean...kitchen needs a deep clean after manic weekend...

Spray tan
Massage
Etc etc
Rumour on the street ...there's a big red carpet do tomoz....
Reckon it's going to be bigger than the bleedy Oscars !
Anyway....just want to make sure I look the part !

Hi Alan, the relationship is not based on a lie. I have made some terrible financial decisions which at this point in our relationship does not affect her. Her money and assets are her's. Our relationship is loving and caring and special, but I am a CG (or was), and she won't be understanding about it, how can you be, if you don't understand it. I appreciate the advice given, but I note the people who are telling me to own up, have not lost their partners, would the advice be the same if they had?
