Hello my lovelies! Hope you're all still going strong. I've come back today and reset my counter because I logged in to do the lottery online and was so bored I played a few scratchies before realising what I'd done.

Also felt I'd been away too long and the focus of watching these days rack up felt so good the last time I wanted to be honest and restart incase I ended up down a slippery road.

This year has been great gamble free I aim to keep it this way 🙂

Sometimes it's good to just refocus and set some new goals to keep in line so reaching 100 days again will be a good focus for me to ensure I don't start fully fledged gambling again. I don't want to get to complacent ha!

How is everyone doing themselves?? Xx

Hi GirlJ great to hear from you and fair play for an honest post. I'm sure you won't go off course, checking in here is a daily pursuit for me to keep me on the right path, not sure what would have happened otherwise. Am chuffed to be on day 153 but only really turned a corner not that long ago to be honest but have recognised my weaknesses and triggers and how to deal with them. Have a great GF week S:)

Hi Sharon. Thanks for the reply. If I wasn't honest then I felt there would've been cracks and that's when you slip down them back to rock bottom so the restart on the counter I strangely see as a positive. It gives me another goal to refocus on and determination to remains or get back completely gamble free as these last few months have been amazing. Well atleast it shows strength that you have remained 153 gamble free even though you have only just reached a turning point. That's amazing keep at it. Also really good recognising the triggers. I've found mine is boredom and seeing things that show potential money to be won (seen a packet of crisps which had a content to win 10,000) sets the greedy mind off then. But like I said luckily was only £10 but recognised it as a fault and came here to get back vigilant and wise to the sneakiness that is this is addiction. I'm feeling positive and still proud so it's all good. Happy gamble free week ahead for you also xxx

Also reading back I am sorry if that thing about the crisps was a trigger as I just wanted to share mine but realise it could trigger someone. No scheming con is as good as being gamble free and rich with happiness is 🙂 stay safe guys xx

Thanks for the lovely words born again.

I am happy with my progression with this horrible addiction. I'm not perfect but even with a reset of my counter I am feeling proud and happy for myself. I wish you the all the best in your journey 🙂 xxx

GirlJ your amazing . Love your honesty and never say die attitude .

Big congratulations on 20 Days GF but that doesn't really tell how you've battled through 181 Days with just one careless venture on the scratchcards . So i'm going to say big respect for 181 days of courage , resilience and openness . I can picture the angel on your shoulder whooping and hollering with delight .

Keep it up Girl your a real inspiration .....stephen

Stephen thank you so much for your touching message. This battle really and what it does to you really opens you up to harsh scrutiny to yourself and it was so nice to hear someone say such nice things about me. Although I am positive and don't want to quit trying ever, I am harsh on myself for being a failure sometimes. Note to self, be kinder to myself. Thanks for reminding me to do that. Thank you on the congratulations. I had to be honest with myself in order to keep going. I felt if I had let that go it would open myself up to start lying and that's where the slope gets slippery. I'm forever fighting onwards as I have seen how good gf life can be and I want it for keeps. I hope your doing well also Stephen 🙂 xxx

Still going strong 82 days today. Focusing on more important things in life and it’s surprising how much it helps get over gambling. 🙂 good luck to everyone on this journey xx
