Hi i have been gambling for about 8 yrs now. but 11 days ago something clicked and i stopped.
I won loads over the last 3 months about 10k.
but within 1 day i lost it all and i thought. What is the point.
I still have money in the bank a house and a car. why lose it to this.
This is my 11th day probs the longest ive not gambled in 8 yrs.
I even went on the site i go on and cashed out my 10% cashback on losses that they gave me back yestserday.
I have money i could gamble if i wanted but have finally woke up and im given up on it.
AS IT IS SIHT.
End of rant...

I've sworn many times that something just clicked in me & I would never go back to gambling. I was wrong. I really hope you are different to me and don't start again. Please be careful not to underestimate the temptation. Always keep your guard up and have plenty of blocks in place.

well done for stopping mate, still think you should self exclude just incase temptation comes back self excude from every bookies and online site possible for a life time ban , you may think there no need if you not gonna gamble again well if that's the case then it wont hurt closing the accounts will it , or it could just save your life if temptation comes back, not trying to preach it sounds like you very intelligent , I think you should be ok if you come on here as this has helped me loads and I defo am up moneywise as if I had not been on here I know I would of gambled and lost more money. keep strong and remember we cannot gamble because we cannot stop, I WILL NOT BE A VICTIM TO THIS ADDICTION. thanks simon
