Day 298.
Picking up my new bike today, how exciting lol. I used to get excited going to the bookies. How times have changed(for the better)
I think this is a great example of what can be done as i never thought i would be less interested in gambling and also never thought I could get near 300 days.
Got a 4 day week this week as we are off to Birmingham on Friday to see the opening of the strictly live tour(my mrs is obsessed ) and this was one Christmas presents i got her.
Have a great day.

Hi Steve,

301 is sooo much better than 300, you are well on the way to that one year, you are doing great.

And NO that afternoon spent on a FOBT is definitely not to bear thinking about.

Have a good last day at work, and I am sure you will have a great time tomorrow, in a weird way lol.

Afternoon Steve,

I knew you would enjoy it watching anything live is just fantastic, totally different from watching it on the box, would love to see that live and dancing on ice, I suspect you will be doing more of that now lol.and why not because you can now, you are not wasting your money on feeding gambling. You are starving that addiction and and for that, you are getting rewards that you thought you would only be able to get by gambling, utter utter madness.

You have /stayed/are staying focused by posting on your diary every single day, and I know how hard it is sometimes to stay focused, that complacency thing can creep in, but you have showed me and others, that recovery is ongoing every day, and I will continue to stay 39 days behind you, and post everyday, to keep me focused.

303 days is an amazing achievement Steve, and don't you forget that, you are doing everything right, and being kind to yourself, and I will keep following you and do the same,

Enjoy your time with the kids,

Luv Suzanne xxx
