Day 305.
Had a lovely weekend all told.
305 days is quite remarkable to be honest as i was in such a hole 10 months ago and just couldn't stay off the FOBT machines. How things change.
I actually enjoy life now as before i didn't because i was this deceiving monster who would crave on the rush of a stupid spinning wheel.
Gambling is always going to be a part of my life but this fight i am going to win. There is no question about that.
I will never gamble again.

305 days sure is remarkable, but you can see how by not gambling,your life has completely changed for the better.

I do feel lately that I will never gamble again, and have posted that today, but like you I am well aware of how this addiction can bite us when least expected.

Lovely positive post, and 10 months of staying clean is definitely a remarkable achievement.

Feel positive today although i have a bit of work to be done on my car which is gonna cost. Hay ho better than wasting it on gambling.

I just took delivery of a new 'old' bike last week, a nineteen seventies touring peoguet to which you would lap me on lol!!!

I do so enjoy cycling, a very healthy form of escapism.

It certainly is better than spending and losing your money on gambling and all gambling would show is more DEBT, and everything else that follows.

306 days now of winning and it's good to read your positivity this morning. and doesn't it feel great knowing we have a choice.

OH downloaded season 1 last night for me so I will,be glued to watching that tonight lol.

Didn't get chance to start watching homeland last night, after watching Eastenders, Holby, and Silent Witness in peace (with OH out) lol.

307 days, great going, am not surprised at all to see you have no urges, why would you want to throw your hard work away, and am sooo pleased to read you don't/ won't.

3 pints last night and i have a thumping headache this morning lol. I think I am going to give booze up.
Its funny that the lads i was out with last night were the bunch i went to the casino with the very last time I went. No mention of it last night.

I want you to know how much you, by posting to me every day, helps me to make that right choice everyday, I think I would be just as gutted letting you down as myself lol.

Reminders of our past gambling, like you had last night, are such a big positive for us to strengthen our resolve to keep abstaining,

because it all seems like another world now, which was utter madness, and one we never want to go back too.

309 days Steve, you are doing brilliant, because it does take a lot of determination and strength at times.

Sore this morning as i hit black ice and came off my bike lol. I have a badly bruised arm and knee and a sore head. Thank god for my helmet because i went down with a thump.
