It would be so easy to continue betting my way. Whats the harm? Maybe I could get away with it i guess? It just depends on how progressively ill i am.

today I remind myself I can't place the first bet like many do. Maybe i get another chance at recovery, but i didn't like I would after the last suicide attempt. Do I risk it?

Hi Tri,

Im finding this on my diary.
It seems when i was struggling i had more people commenting and urging me to beat it but now i rarely get anything.

Hi Alan and anyone else reading this

It was commented on the chat that many members are not getting support on their diaries. I can say I understand this. it can get lonely if you are putting yourself out there and not getting any response. Its why I do try and support as many diaries as I can especially those who i feel are trying to support others too.

thanks Alan and others for your support. its very very much appreciated. tri

I was meant to quote this one.

Keep up the abstaining everyone.

Hi Cathy

Yes and No. Being an addict means that life is never OK, but neither is it terrible if I am working on my recovery a day at a time with gusto. Having support from good people like yourself makes so much difference and you are often in my thoughts when I think of the harm this illness has caused those around me. thanks Cathy and all those other family members who support us gamblers working hard on their recovery. tri x

Just popping by to say hi. How are you? I'm not sure if you appreciate motivational quotes, but I like this one and thought I'd share it with you....

"Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending"

It's not really applicable to you because you've been travelling this road for a long time, but I liked it! LB x
