I get its not easy for some of us. It can be a life changing event. Addiction can paralyse but there is help and support out there for those who want it. Gamcare can be a good start for that support. tri

Hey Tri, hope you had a nice christmas and a good start to the new year đŸ™‚

Just dropping by to make sure you're ok, you seem to have gone a bit quiet, I always look for your diary (I know I'm slack at posting myself but do read everyone elses) and it worries me when I don't see you post like you used to.

Anyway, sorry if that sounds a bit "stalkerish" but hope your ok xx

Not "stalkerish" at all. Its actually quite caring and i appreciate that. thankyou.

Like much of my recovery it can be a bit hit and miss, but i do work at consistancy and making sure i keep as many of the plates in the air as possible but sometimes one or two fall. Lately I've been spending more of my recovery time doing GA stuff but I also try and read as many posts on here and reply to posters to support when i can.

thanks for the thought and glad to hear from you.

tri

Once again I'm reminded that recovery needs to be about actions. Its too easy to talk a good game.

I'm glad you're doing ok, it's ok to let the "posting" plate fall, it's more important to keep the gamble free plate spinning....and you keep it spinning with whatever tools work for you xx

Yes only time will tell, but i keep trying. I still have the same blocks in place that are so far working but am also on the look out for anything else that can make a difference.

Morning Tri, are you ok? Some folks just don't want to interact; I think for some a diary somehow makes them think they are tackling their problems...but who am I to judge? Your presence on the forum gives so many people support, belief that we can overcome problem gambling. Hope you are having a good day. I have a day off today, tackling a mountain of unopened mail, all sorted into piles for filing now. Catch you later x
