Does recovery get boring sometimes? Yes of course it does and boredom is often one of the main reasons gamblers seem to give when they report back in. Keep your recovery as fresh as you can but sometimes I still need to make the right calls regardless of if I am having fun or not.

I get that !

Boredom is a dangerous bedfellow.

It seems I have unitentionally grasped that and am busying myself up wherever possible.

With regards to the fun part, i am slowly remembering what that was/is.

Take care Triangle

When did it go out of fashion to be polite and thank for support?

Hi Tri....I know exactly what you mean, I'm always immensely grateful for support both here and in real life... I think some people just misinterpret 'support' .... it isn't always about pats on the back or congratulations.... sometimes there needs to be 'tough love' but unfortunately not everyone is open to receiving & understanding that moving on from addiction is tough.... we spend years getting ourselves into the mess that brought us here... yet some don't want to hear the reality of the commitment and work involved in changing our addicts mindset. There is no quick fix...There is no easy way.

Support is a 2 way street.... I try to give as well as receive.

Wishing you well Tri....Thank you 🙂
