So still gamble free, but always challenges with this addiction of course
On this site we've had the women's only chat. I hope it went well for them. I was saddened that it takes out an opportunity for me to get peer support but perhaps Gamcare could put on another lunch time session to replace?
As i'm checking in on the weekly diaries and challenges, i thought i'd update my diary. Doing okay mostly and I am looking forward to summer. Very much a sun worshipper
Should be on the chat later tonight - probably the later one.
Well done to everyone who's in recovery at the moment. I know how hard it can be to remain as such.
Keeping my tools in play

Hi Tri, hope you are doing ok. I find it strangely reassuring to know that thoughts of gambling remain an issue...but despite them you are gf. Helen

At times its frustrating and annoying, but at times life can be so good. Its trying to keep the emotional highs and lows at a safe level so gambling addiction doesn't have as much to feed on. Today has been a good day and got my meeting tomorrow which helps
Couple weeks since I posted. So positive is i've not gambled. Rocky ground but i'm swimming.
Hey Tri , Good to see you still around and pushing on , the current can be strong at times but your strong and slow and steadys the way :))

thanks Alan. I still put in a regular appearance on chat if you're interested
I've never really felt comfortable in a GA meeting or a counselling session. Then again if I am comfortable am i doing what I am supposed to. If its accepted that compulsive gambling is an emotional illness then dealing with that isn't going to be easy or pleasant. I attend GA meetings and counselling sessions because I need to, not becasue I want to.
Just pressed the "like" button. Have a great gamble free day tri!
