day 40

i like reading other posts on this site and sometimes i read stuff i really don't agree with but that's fine

We all work our own stopping gambling in different ways

what works for one may not work for the other

what i try and do is be as honest as i can at the time

i can only do my best

thanks

a friend does the lottery and i found myself getting too interested in it

day 47

gamble free

beautiful day

sunny

musical if not a little tough

read a post on here about not being able to be happy. changing my life around isn't easy and there are many things i can't change, but that's not to say there isn't much beauty in what i do have (even if it might not be much to some)

thanks for being here

Fella you got to the half century through the great effort you have gifted recovery, through the choice you make for that be very proud,a huge well done for me.

I often see the time gifted to recovery being only a fraction of the time we gifted to the compulsion,as even when we were not actually gambling we by and large were formulating,or trying to think of ways to dig ourselves out of the misery our gambling caused.

Your glass reads like it is half full today, best of all that glass is filled for free, through your own choice, with waging a single penny on the random outcome of an event.

My advice Enjoy it.

Duncs stepping forward never back.
