Hey Irene,

First lets make things clear. You my friend are not a failure , the absolute opposite to be precise:-) You are doing fantastic job and i admire your strength and determination. You should be well proud of yourself girl.

I wish i could help you with your big reunion.I hope your friends will chose a cheaper option, it's all about everyone getting together anyway, don't have to be posh outing ...( that's my opinion)

Well done for another day g free, you are and always be the first person i look up to 🙂

Thank you for being here and sharing your journey

Take care

Sandra x

Day 314

Thanks ladies- sometimes I have a wee cry when someone posts a lovely reply- your support and empathy mean so much. The power of peer support has been reinforced to me over the past few months- thanks to everyone who's been there for me.

This weekend's so far been a chillaxed one- mostly chosen to spend it alone so far, although son's GF visited yesterday evening and he visited today for lunch with his mum. They are so good together- I am really pleased that he's found a girl like her who's made him happy. They are so much in love and compliment each other perfectly.

Tomorrow will be different. I'll spend it with people who don't know how much I can empathise with them and their struggles- but I know and that's what's important.

Was on chat earlier. The advisor was telling a story about a positivity jar- I think Ill adopt this. Add a slip a slip of paper with any positive/nice stuff that happens and reflect when life feels rubbish.

For now, there's nothing I can do about debts- its once again in the hands of CAB. I'm not gambling. I have food/heat and a roof. So, I'm doing OK.

Why am I not euphoric that life's good????????

First thing in the positivity jar is the way you come on here each day whatever the weather so to speak and the kind support you give to so many others - has kept me going many a time after a melt down.

Here's hoping that jar gets filled mega quick and the debts are sorted as fast.

Thanks DF- I suppose that's the beauty of daily logging...its all there, the good and the bad.

day 315=45 weeks

Definitely a good day. This evening attended the work event. It was so inspiring to see folk achieve in the face of adversity and a somewhat humbling reminder to appreciate how change can happen.

Another gamble free week notched up and I do feel pride in that achievement 🙂

Day 316

Another good day 🙂

Sister's home from holiday and she had a ball...thinking of their next break already!

Son's got a start day for his new job.

Work was OK and exercise class was exhausting. What more could I want on a Monday?

day

Gamble free and been too preoccupied to be here. Tonights the culmination of months of work Ive been doing with a group. I could never be a professional event planner Nerves are kicking in!

The fact that Ive forgotten to post is a double edged sword-great that Ive not thought at all about gambling, yet scary that Ive let my support slip (unsure if that makes sense to anyone reading but I know what I mean)

Anyhow, need to push on-the 'to do'list is beckoning!

Thank you Irene,

Not good news about cat...it was different one...so still waiting if he comes back. It is horrible Irene, please never slip, because once again it's not all about money...it's your self belief and accomplishments..

Maybe it's just me...taking everything too serious...but it's just me..and i will try to stand up...no way i'm registering for any sites, i need to concentrate on myself and how i react to things...I surely surprised myself today...i don't know what's going on...and i'm scared....

Sorry darling...sorry i let you all down...You was first person to be there...and i just want you to know what i always be there for you...Always girl

Take care now...speak to you some time...you doing great just keep it up xx
