I'm unsure what to do as he doesn't know that I can login to his account and see his betting history. Outwardly he tells everyone he's a great punter, tells constant lies about making profits all the time, lies about what bets he has had, makes up non existent bets he hasn't placed.... and he's getting worse
In truth I shouldn't be looking at his account but now I can see the scale of the losses he is covering up I'm really concerned for him.
In October 2016 he lost thousands and got a friend to self exclude everywhere but somehow two accounts got missed meaning he can use those. Already this year the losses are close to £10k and he has begun depositing off credit cards once the wages run out. I've noticed the times he is gambling have started to include the middle of the night so he's clearly stressing about money and thinks gambling is the way out
I don't know what to do next. If I confess I've logged into his account he could react very negatively. If I do nothing his problems will continue to mount
I'm hiding my gambling, and if I am honest with myself it would ultimately be better if I did get caught. I think if you approach the subject straight up from a very supportive angle, without judgement or patronising tones, you will probably be surprised how much this helps.

You can try talking to him but the truth is until the pain of continuing to gamble becomes more than the pain of stopping it's unlikely to have any effect. He has to want to stop and then keep wanting to stay stopped more than he wants the next bet. It may indeed be that someone else knowing and speaking to him about it becomes the kick up the backside he needs to make the changes required but equally don't be surprised if it isn't.
