Hi Gary, my gf has known about my gambling for a number of years. I broke down several times in front of her (and also my eldest son), I made promises (no more) but I was unable to keep them. After the fifth/sixth promise/ultimatum, she told me in Spring 2014, one last chance - you gamble again and our relationship is over, well i only stopped 31.3.15 after chasing losses for nine months (up and down), so I have a dilemma ........................................ I don't want to lose her (because I do really care for her) but honesty ....................................... selfishly i don't wan't to lose her at this point, making a real effort to quit gambling really messes with your emotions and mental state, I don't need/think I could cope with a relationship (8 Years of) break-up right now.
