Hi, the first thing I suggest you do is contact Gamcare and take it from there. I think we can all relate to your story and the pain of everything feeling like too much. You need help financially and emotionally so please take the first step. There's loads of help and advice on here but I think you need the professional services offered by Gamcare at this moment.

Get to a GA meeting asap
Hi benbenben
I am a recovering CG
You have taken the first step, asking for help. I know it's not an easy thing to do, so well done and welcome to the forum.
Have you thought about attending GA or getting some counselling for your addiction? The members of GA are gamblers just like you and me ( I am a member of GA in Aust.). They know what the addiction can do to you, how you feel, and most importantly what to do to help you recover from the addiction.
I think that you should inform your family of your problem. Tell them everything, what you gamble on, why you gamble ( if you know ),how much debt you are in etc. Get it all out in the open. The majority of families are very supportive to the problem gamber. They will probably be angry, disappointed etc intially, so be prepared for that.
Access to money is a hurdle that all CG's have to overcome. Can you hand over your finances to a family member for a period of time? If you are gambling online there is software available that can block access to most? sites.
A lot of problem gamblers have been in your position, no money, plenty of debt and no prospects for a future. We have turned our lives around, and so can you.
If you really want to stop gambling you can, but you really have to want to stop.
Best wishes

You think its going to cost £330 to get to your local gamcare counselling or GA rooms? Come on there is a way forward but you've tried hard on your own, now you have the option of help
If you don't want it that's a different point altogether
Suggestion when you next get money give it to a friend member or close friend. When you have your counselling booked or have located your GA room ask them for some of that money. After all if you keep it its going to be lost anyway.
........
Ben you need some urgent help mate to get your life back on track , at 21 you have your wholfe life ahead , first thing is to self exclude from all the bookies you use.
Which part of the world do you live in ? you can get help from other specialists not just ga meetings I can try and find somewhere closer and suggest places to go.
I was in a similar situation and if your not careful you will end up much deeper in than you want to be.
Hi Ben,
Are you still here?
Hope you've made some positive choices over the last 4 weeks.
