Thanks all for the kind words.

Day 7.

This morning I felt like visiting a bookies more than I have done all week.

I have no access to cash and have self-excluded so it was an impossibility, nonetheless the urge was there.

After a brief chat with Anastasia (gamcare) these thoughts were dispelled.

The reason the urge was there was habit, Sunday morning would normally involve a visit to a bookies whilst out for the morning rolls for breakfast, either collecting money from yesterday or putting the days bets on, and would always involve a session on a FOBT, which would invariably result in losing yesterday's winnings then trying to chase them.

I am now slowly seeing the error of my ways and am realising how much of a mug I've been all these years.

Next step on my recovery journey is my first GA meeting tomorow night.
