Relapsed badly yesterday losing £800 in just a few hours on 1 slot machine.

Can you tell me is this normal?! I literally had the feature twice in £800!

I can’t believe I managed to get some sleep last night, but today I can’t get the loss out of my head.

For my own mental health I’m having to put this message out on here.

Would really appreciate some support and advice.

Many thanks

Slot machines are designed to manipulate you to keep playing until you lose all your money. Majority of people now will stay on the machine, changing games, go up and down and untimely not collect anything out. Tricking themselves into thinking, if I left at that time I would have been up. They are designed this way to play with your emotions and keep you playing until all is lost. The colours, sounds and images are all created with one thing in mind, to keep you pressing that start button. Educate yourself on how slot machines keep you addicted and it will help to battle the urges in future.

I agree with Bert i was addicted to fobt with a £500 jackpoct i was use to lossing couple of hundred then changing machines and repeating the proccess i still lost regardless however these machines give me the odd win which now looking back how rare it was has i manage to never take loans out until my last relapse which started with intial winning couldnt accept how i couldnt stop and i took a loan out and lost it not only was this the biggest loss in a single day it was also the fastest way i lost this money since i learnt about this addiction and now on 955 days bet free u can lose life changing money in a single night different now i accept the issue rather then thinking it wont happen to me because it did i realise the way my mind frame was and the way i lost i could have ran throw a million or what ever figure i had rather then thinking it was my luck or what ever

Thank you guys it’s so helpful to have someone to talk to on here and people who understand. It’s helped me to think that the slot machines are made to literally rob me like it did yesterday. Rather than to think that it was just unlucky, or that if I put another £10 I’d start to win, to actually realise that the machine is designed to take all my money away from me! I just don’t know how this can be legal really!

Hi Mango

Unfortunately as we all know the house always wins so no one ever wins over a period of time. Sounds like it might be an idea to knock it on the head now before it gets any worse. If only I told myself that 44 years ago
