Hi,
I have tried to fight this for a long time but im ready to admit im a gambling addict.if im not gambling im on youtube watching other people gamble and its driving me insane.i hate the feeling after a loss but it doesnt stop me going back.ive amounted several debts and my wife is at the end of her teather.i really dont know where to start to beat this demon 🙁

Hi, your path seems a similar one to mine... I took to watching people play big spins on the roulette fobt's on YouTube just to gauge how much the machines are capable of paying out! It doesn't get you anywhere though.... Numerous times iv gone in the bookies and spun the wheel at £50 a go.... 5 minutes later £250 becomes about £28.80 and it all goes within 3 or 4 more spins!!

I'm only 3 days free of gambling but in the past I've achieved 50+

The way I combat gambling now is to not carry cash at all. You can get what they call a Pockit Card..... This is a prepaid credit card which is handy to keep in your wallet. You can load it up at a pay point in the newsagents and spend as you need. The beauty of these cards is the bookies or websites don't accept them! I load mine with £20 and just use it to buy my dinners each day. That way I've got access to money but not gambling money 🙂

It may be that your gambling pattern is different to mine but I thought I'd share my ideas just incase it helps
