I wasn't aware someone lost with such a high average Duncs, althought I'm a huge darts fan I just don't enjoy Premier League darts. I watch all the tournaments, but I think the league format just puts me off, I far prefer knock outs. As for the rugby they can have big matches in both codes Ryan, international union is better than league and club league is better than club union in my opinion. Also there isn't a decent local side to follow in union, whereas I can get to Saints in 45 minutes.

So its day 110 and only 167 days till New York. I have to admit I'm not liking the choices I'm having to make month to month as saving for my trip is really a struggle. I know it will be worth it in the long run, but I think I would have been more sensible booking 5 days rather than 14, or going on a cheaper two week hol. I've had to turn down a few nights out recently or days out as I can't afford them. I need to keep strong as times like that can be when the 'easy money' thoughts come to mind.

No urges today, no bets today!

Day 111 and another day ruined by the football! When I saw the line up in the pub I told my mate we would get beat 4 nil so I wasn't far off. I should have stuck to what I said last week about not going again whilst we had this manager.

No urges today, no bets today!

Take my advice and give up on the football for the rest of this season. Think how much money you'll save. All of that can go into a spending pot for New York City to ensure your trip there is an enjoyable one rather than frittering it away on fruitless wet weekends around the provinces of England watching football.

Thanks Suzanne, 113 days and another mundane Monday. I'm running the shift in work today so it should go a little quicker than usual. Its a much needed payday this Friday and my money should last longer as I have no footy away days planned and nothing too expensive lined up. I need to stay strong this week, keep my barriers in place and my life music high.

No urges and no bets today!

Day 114 and off to the doctors before work for a blood test. I avoid going to my GP at all costs but had to go recently and he wants to do a wellman check on me. Can't wait to get it done and get some food.

No thoughts about gambling today. no urges, barriers are up! No bets today.

Day 115, just been to see my counsellor. Its a big week this week. I'm hoping payday won't bring any urges and I'm looking forward to my finances looking healthier. Can't wait to get work done with for the week, two shifts to go and its been a frustrating week!

No urges today, no bets today!

Day 116 and thankfully two days off after today and payday tomorrow! Hopefully this Saturday won't be ruined by the football for a change! But I am looking forward to a good few beers on Saturday before and after the game.

Got to stay strong tonight, and tomorrow, no thoughts of free money or systems! No bets today.

Thanks for looking out for me Suzanne, I guess I didn't post because I was busy, I wouldn't say life music was high, but on Friday and Saturday I replaced the urge to gamble by getting absolutely hammered. So I'm on day 120 today and still gamble free. However after having gone so long and found things so easy it was disturbing for the urges to come back so strong. This same thing happened to me last year after I had got through the 100 day mark and I struggled on and eventually slipped up. So I need to clean up my act and stay strong and make sure this doesnt happen again. I have to focus on New York, if I gamble I don't go! I do feel a lot better today, more focussed and need to get back to being positive.

No bets today!
