Well day 10 gamble free is over and done with almost, not had any real urge to gamble, probably due to keeping myself busy.
Been reading various post's on e*e and i like the £2 coin idea for every day not gambling, so i have set myself a target of 50 days no gambling & i will reward myself with the money saved, this will have to go hand in hand with me not smoking as well.

Tomorrow will be day 11, hopefully another day free of the slot machine addiction that has blighted my life for the last 20years.

Day 11 just about finished, no real urges to play the slots just yet but the black cloud is starting to lift and feeling more positive. This is the danger time when the thoughts just pop into my head.

Will take it one day at a time.

Day 12 tomorrow, hopefully another gamble free day

Well half way tnrough day 12, just been into town to put some money in bank, managed to stay out of gaming centre but the thoughts of just having a quick 20 started flooding into my head, luckily I had forgot to put money in parking meter so ran back to car, jumped in & headed home.

I will beat this addiction

Day 13 still gamble free, had strong urges last night to jump un car and go and play the slots, not sure why, but did not give in.
Going to have to find out what triggers these urges.
Hopefully by the end of the day it will be another day free of those blasted machines

Day 13 almost over, no real urges today, been busy with work all day so would not have had a chance. Passed a few of my usual slot machine haunts today travelling between jobs and just looked at them in discust. The amount of time & money i have wasted in them places is unreal.

The weekend will be a real test, usually the time i go into town and end up playing slots.

Going to try & resist the urge.

Morning and well done on the gf and smoking. I gave up the smoking in March 2015 and gambling 32 days ago. Both have made such a difference in my well being. With regards to being anti sociable, that's because you have lost a bit of confidence because of the addiction, you will get this back as you start to feel better and enjoy the things you used to before the dreaded g came into your life and started sucking everything out of you . Have a good week end and stay strong and positive x

2 weeks gamble free & smoke free, well if i can keep of the slots I should remain smoke free.

Day 15 today, keep myself busy do a few jobs then chill tonight. Starting to feel a bit more positive all the time, alhough not bothered about the going out & socialising at the minute, too many opportunities to gamble & smoke.

Time to start and look at alternative hobbies etc.

Well it's the start of another week, hopefully a productive & gamble free week.
Should be busy with work & doing a few odd jobs around the house that require doing.
No real urgea to gamble or have a smoke which is good.
Going to set myself goals each day, so besidea working I will get jobs done at home that I have been putting off.
