44 days free of gambling (although this new forum says 45?, maybe I misscounted)

63 days to go (500 to pay off before Nov.)

360 pounds saved.

773 paid off (long term debts) 273 paid out

0 spent on gambling

Money +- in last 125 days = +964

So bought some flights for a stag do I'm going on next year yesterday at 130 quid, has made me a bit anxious but I knew it was coming up, just hope I don't gamble to try and get it back. To be fair that is a small part of what I've saved from not gambling so I can afford it.

Did have gambling thoughts last night but blocks are in place and I just went to bed early and have woke up this morning in a much better mood.

ok so only double spacing allowed? Very odd, not liking this new forum, and I can't delete an old post. if it ain't broke...

Hi there Rst.Ex-CG

Sorry to hear you're having a few issues posting with your mobile - the site is designed to allow this so there should be no problem. Your posts are coming through fine on this thread - would you be able to give us a bit more detail about what the problem is and what device you are using so we can look into it?

Best Wishes

Hi,

I am using a Samsung galaxy s4 mini, I access this website through the incognito mode of Google Chrome.

Hopefully this is on a new line? I only find out once I've hit the save button.

Thanks for looking into this.

Rst.

46 days free of gambling
62 days to go (500 to pay off before Nov.)
368 pounds saved.
773 paid off (long term debts)
0 spent on gambling
Money +- in last 126 days = +972

So that all probably looks very jumbled but I'm actually doing very well got my head down last few days and the days are actually flying by.

Looking forward to my next revision session this Saturday and it sort of gives me motivation due to having homework that needs to be done and also getting up to speed so I can get as much out of the session. Put it this way I'm not wasting another 3 months studying for this exam.

376 pounds saved.

773 paid off (long term debts)

But of a nothing day yesterday got a bit of studying done but struggle to motivate myself, hopefully the weekend will kick start things again.

Works ok but feel like the amount of work is piling up and at the moment I can't keep track.

Less than 3 weeks now, big push required.

48 days free of gambling

60 days to go (500 to pay off before Nov.)

384 pounds saved.

773 paid off (long term debts)

0 spent on gambling

Money +- in last 128 days = +988

So I had some bad news Friday evening that my great auntie on my dads side had passed away, she was in her mid 80's and had been in and out of hospital for the past 6 months so we had been sort of expecting it but it still hits you hard and it frustrates me that I didnt see her more over the last year as I was dedicating myself so much to my recovery and saving money. Sometimes even if I was free at the weekend I would rather stay in and do nothing to save money rather than use my petrol to visit her in hospital. I did get to see her only a couple of weeks ago and did have a good chat with her but you could tell she wasn't her usual self.

On to today and I have to now spend 8 hours in a classroom studying, will take my mind off things which is always good.

49 days free of gambling

59 days to go (500 to pay off before Nov.)

392 pounds saved.

773 paid off (long term debts)

0 spent on gambling

Money +- in last 129 days = +996

So pretty please with myself, went out drinking last night after a long day of studying and although I did spend a bit of money I didn't come home at 3 and think 'right I'm going to gamble to get back what I've spent'.

Was a good night catching up with Sunday morning football lads and was nice to know we don't have a game to suffer in the morning. Also took my mind totally off my recent news.

Onwards to 50 days tomorrow which is a good start but I feel I have the money in my bank and experience to realise I will never need to gamble again to get rid of debts but they will reduce from abstaining and focusing on my life and making it better through working hard and taking opportunities when they arise.

So I'll be staying in my job until the new year which is great news so can focus on my work and paying back my debts now. Redundancy pay will be a nice bonus next year when it happens.
