WOOHOO! Really fantastic freda. Time to be as kind to yourself as much as you would be if anyone of us reached 31 weeks. If counting helps keep counting!

Hi Freda

I know she has to seek help herself, think is I have no idea of how extreme or extensive her gambling is at the moment. I know all too well how gamblers can hide there addiction. I know she hasn't gambled in the past few days because the weather has been too bad to go out to the bingo and she has no online access. I could second guess it all I want.

Your right I am too hard on myself at times. I am pleased at the process so far, I have had some victories this week and should give myself credit for that. You may put your finger back in your holster.

thanks rob, smiler, dotty and del!

Just checking in to say all is well, although been a bit poorly today with a minor thing.

I went to my first Zumba class yesterday, and really enjoyed it! It has been hard for me to get the balance right between giving myself time to recover from the chronic anxiety, and still avoiding putting things off, through laziness/fear/negativity. I have been meaning to go to this place for months now, but health-wise have not been up to it. I am glad I waited until I was well enough to try something new without it being too much. Anyway, the ladies who go seemed friendly and nice, and I am gonna go back this weekend. Proud of myself for actually going and not chickening out!

Tomorrow will be 32 weeks since my last gamble of any kind.

I haven't been reading diaries much, as I have been a bit out of sorts, but my fellow warriors are in my thoughts - you know who you are xx

Hi Freda... I often peer through the window on my way to the gym and the tread mill at these bodies leaping around to music and think no ****** way lol

Well done for going to your Zumba class and enjoying it! 🙂

Thanks for your thoughts about anti-depressants. I will have a chat with doc next time I go visit. Am due for a blood pressure check up soon so may "have a chat".

Your gambling free time is just brill !! 🙂

Hello my girl 🙂

Thank you for your kind words in my diary. Bless you.

That's what I came here to write on your diary. And then I read your last post and thought, wow!!!

WTG Freda. I am so proud of you.

32 weeks gamble free and going out to a zumba class? Gee!!! Look at Miss confidence(I'm grinning from ear to ear with happiness)

This is brilliant. And you're going back for more.

Have a wriggle and a shake for me next time xxxx

I tried zumba at the warm up for Race for Life last year and had to stop. Belly hurts to much 🙁

Great way to exercise though, just wish I could do it. Never mind. For me exercise is getting up and down the stairs without stopping(hahaha)

Wishing you all the very best. Sending love and hugs

God Bless

Sabine xx

Hi Freda,

Just popping by to return one of your heart-warming high fives for your 32 weeks gamble free. I have just passed 7 and you along with the other posters have played the major part in that.

One piece of advice from you that suddenly became apparent was when you said that as the weeks pass gamble free we feel sometimes as if we can afford to give ourselves a reward and before we know it bets have been made.

I hadn't really felt like that until the other day and whoosh, exactly what you said happened.

Thankfully I managed to channel those treats into books and films.

Wow by the way that Zumba looks quite hardcore so well done for being brave and go for it!

Thanks again for being there and stay strong and safe.
