Yesterday I stopped at a cash machine that i used to run to for cash withdrawals carrying multiple cards. It was only different yesterday I took £100 for pocket money as i was going out with my mates.
How time have changed, 8 months ago this £100 and much more would've gone to the bookies pocket.
I look at the bookies shop and it was quite busy. I felt sorry for everyone there and i proudly walked past to get on with my day.

The sun is shining and its a beautifull day.

I feel like I have wasted 3 summers in my 3.5 years of gambling episode. Eventhough i went on holidays but my mind wasnot at peace, deep inside i had worries, secrets and regrets.

I am hoping to make the best out of this summer i have been skint for the last 9 months trying to get my finances back inorder.

I will postpone my rigorous debt paying plans and treat my self.

Have alovely day everyone

Congratulations Adam. 262 days since your last bet.

You have a great attitude and have let go of the past. With wisdom and understanding you recognised that your period of gambling was a big mistake and are determined not to repeat it.

You will have good experiences and some that are not so good but you won't have the misery of compulsive gambling dragging you down. Wishing you well as you move forward in rediscovering your life.

Hi,
274 days GF. 91 more days for a whole year. When debt is paid this soon will be something in the past.
The other day I read that gambling industry say if fobt stake is reduced to £2, that would hurt the economy. I would agrue that their existence is along term harm to the economy. How many lives has been lost, how many familes have been destroyed, how many days are lost at work due to depression and illness cuz of gambling losses.
I just donot understand how these ppl think. In my view its pure evil.
