One of my colleagues at work is going on holiday abroad and I asked if they could buy me some ciggies and id give them the money, they seemed a bit against it and told me how their husband who works with me too iz suffering from cancer and was told four years ago that he only had half a year to live. This has made me think how young he is at sixty to go thru this. I have decided to try and give up to set a good example. I am thirty five now and have smoked a long time. It will be hard but its for the best

Good Luck Adam on the smoking. There's some new medication out there (well a few years old) that has helped a lot of people. I highly recommend going to the doctors for a chat if you haven't already.

Been playing on fruities a bit not too much lost a tenner last night. Saving fifty four by not going to gym every month. Having a nice relaxing weekend at home. Job going well. Should be able to book a holiday next pay cheque

Hey Adam, sounds like you are making the right decisions now mate. Staying away from all forms of gambling is the best way forward....one day at a time.

Good luck.

Hello again. Bit of an update last night I played on fruit machine. Fifteen pounds. Today is day one. Ive managed to stop smoking weed for six years and although it has its moments of wanting to do it again when I don't the next day I feel a lot better. Hopefully I can get this good feeling the next day after managing to not gamble ? Lets see.

Need to get back to being myself a normal hard working, friendly person who enjoys life. Need to stop obsessing about everything. I really don't know what life has instore for me now but I know I need to make some basic changes or at least give them a try to see what's around the corner rather than staying in the same groove ive been in the past year

things I can possibly change are playing on fruit machines, drinking in pubs, smoking, poker nights, exercise, weight, social activities, the amount of hours I work, the amount I save each month and so on.

Feeling really down, lost six pounds on fruit machine today, felt tired at work, didn't feel myself, played poker and didn't enjoy it. Thinkind about stopping poker and starting something new. Need to have a big think about what I'm going to do but I'm pretty tired so it wont be today.

Adam it's time to have a rethink mate. The only time you seem to post is on the back of a bet your using your diary wrong you should be posting good bad and indifferent.

All these £10 here £6 there are just keeping the embers burning it's not a lot of money but eventually you will have a blowout and that's not what you want.

I think you need to consider are happy to continue gambling the way you are or if you are going to give it your all stop this once and for all and by that I mean making some big changes, getting some help from outside sources and building you blocks up so its way harder to have a bet than it is now, it seems just to easy for you to have a bet.
