My only problem is the fixed odds betting terminals in the bookies.
Somehow I convince myself to go in then £1 turns into hundreds
I quit for 5 weeks but I have sine gambled and lost over £300 these past couple weeks.
I shall record my progress here .
A user name I know all to well . it was my favourite slot way back in the day before they beefed it up for the fobt version. I wasn't really into the bookies machines I preferred the privacy of a slot house. I think we all will relate to going in to test our luck with a few quid. Only to lose the lot and then some . Stopping is the simple bit staying stopped is where the hard work lies. You're best reading the forum and finding out what will help you overcome the need to gamble. There's self exclusion, counselling, gamblers anonymous, maybe start with the self exclusion and work from there?
All the best deano
Thanks for your help I am in the process of trying to self exclude
