Something I shared on another thread
checking in today on day 166
stopping gambling and staying stopped is a challenge for me
some seem to find it easy and that's great but i don't
at times it paralyzes me and threatens to take away my life
its literally hell on earth
not saying this to upset anyone just to share how I feel
today i'm gamble free and keeping positive but i know there's good and bad times ahead. I've just got to keep riding that roller coaster
marching on another day
tri
Well done on being 166 days gamble free, and heres to another 166 on top of this, knowing it can be done def helps me .
Thanks for sharing
Wow 166 days, hats off to you. You know even at a tenner a day you have saved 1660. Quite a thought huh, when I know on my worst days I have thrown away 300~400. Congratulation Tri and your post has actually made me think about sticking 5~10 a day into an online saving account every day or two. Then when I clock up so many gamble free days as you I could get a wee holiday x
Hi tri
The roller coaster journey of recovery is not an easy ride but we have to hang on even more tightly when it wants to come down cos we know it will soon go back up
166 days is a big achievement be proud of yourself because you are riding the ups and downs
Onwards and forwards even if slowly to a happier and healthier life
Stay safe and take care

Hi Triangle
Sorry to hear how you have been struggling as, having read previous posts, you have been and continue to be so an inspiration to many on here including myself.
You have done so well with your recovery and I hope you find the strength to continue.

Hey Tri! You're going great guns!!! You must be feeling loads better apart from those bloody urges we all get ....remember the complacency thingy!!! Don't get too sure of yourself....I've been there, done that and, as they say....would get the T-shirt if I could only afford it!! How wonderful a notion it is to be gamble-free and eventually (tho in my case, years from now) debt free. Since I haven't been gambling....I look forward to getting to bed at decent time with a good book. Keep going Tri, you're doing great. Helen. X
thanks Helen
reading other posts its so true that in a bet its not just the gamble its the lies, deceit and everything that goes with it
today is a good day as i don't have to lie
i can be honest 🙂
today i'm gamble free
