Hello Cheryl

Oh how I wish I was but alas no

That being said I am trying to appreciate all the good in recovery that i've made but its not a smooth journey as I often share

Many ups and down like yourself but I'm trying and i will do my best not to give up

thankyou so much for thinking of me

means a lot

Hi Tri,

It's not a smooth journey, but it's certainly a much better life without gambling involved in it.

Keep going you are doing great.

Stay strong.

Yes i'd take a non gambling day in life than the best gambling day

i read some say that if they won their money back they'd stop

i've got my money back time after time in the early days and I never did

now it would be impossible to get it back baring a lottery win and since i don't buy a ticket well...

thanks for ongoing support

its inspiring

tri

Hey Tri

Thanks for your post, and making me smile on a bad day, which is my day off what a joke lol,

It would take a lottery ticket for me too, to win back what I have lost, cos if I had played that tenner and won back my last 300 deposit( deposit on through a PD loan,) I know I would not have stopped ,and that should say it all, but disillusioned today as these positive thoughts came thundering through that I would win on only a tenner.but what would I win definitely not all I have staked and gambled, I would have been a total loser again, affecting everything in my life.

I have accepted my loss of money, I have moved away from that, I just don't understand why the addiction is trying to convince me I will be a winner, after 166 days of not playing, and continuing that is the only way I will win my life back.

Will this addiction try to thrive of us permantly,

I don't have the answer, sorry to ramble on your diary, but I think you will understand.

Keep going Tri and keep fighting, it is the only way forwards.

Battling along side with you,

Suzanne xx

Hi Tri,

We are are winning our lives back, that beats winning money everytime, because we don't win money when we gamble, it's lent to us.

Enjoy your gambling free weekend,

Suzanne xx
