Welcome to the forum, and well done for posting here. It’s good that you’ve recognised your gambling has turned into an addiction, and that you’re willing to seek help to sort out the problem.

I quite agree with you saying you’ve got addiction to gambling because of the huge amount of money you’ve lost (you didn’t state the exact figure though).

Once you’re unable to control your gambling, and keeps on betting more than you want, and also finds it difficult to stop it, then it’s more likely you’ve got gambling addiction problem. Gambling gets worse if you don’t do anything about it, and it’s difficult to try and overcome it by yourself.
