Great news Stephen....you should be proud of yourself. Well done.

Awesome to see how big a shift there has been in your attitude over the last few days.

You are going to have good days and bad days....enjoy the good ones and do what's needed to get through the bad ones without gambling.

Delighted for you.

Morning Stephen , wow ! that's great news mate and you should be deservedly proud of yourself , you don't give yourself enogh credit for all the things you have and can achieve in life but this last few days have been a real turnaround in my opinion , your so much more capable of having a better life you just need to realise that fact .

Giant leaps forward have been made this week mate and when you go through a bad patch as we all do at times you need to look back and say " I did that " :)) , It's no different with gambling , if you really want to stop that cycle your in then just go for it and more great changes will soon be on the horizen for you .

Best wishes for a great day my friend .

Alan

Fantastic news Stephen, this week just gets better for you! Regarding your earlier post about feeling a bit 'meh', embrace it - I'd take the mundane 'meh' day over the head spinning, stomach churning after gambling feeling of disgust and disappointment day any time. Keep positive Stephen, it's been lovely to see you flourish this week 🙂

Well done Stephen, great turnaround in a short period of time, really good to see. The gym is a really positive thing to get in to, just make sure you don't burn out...give yourself at least 2 days off per week, just to rest and recover.

Hi Stephen,

Not sure if you remember, but like you I've been an occasional visitor here over the years, fighting the same fight with gambling over and over, and I've posted a few times on your diaries in the past. Sounds like getting that qualification could be a step towards a brighter and more successful future for you. I had something similar over the summer, and at least now the earnings are a little better to help pay off those gambling debts. Those gambling debts that I don't want to be running up ever again. Hey, its tough, but celebrate the successes in your life while they are, and keep your focus on the good things you can achieve and the better side of life without betting.

All the best buddy,

Ryan

Thanks for the congrats on the exam thats really nice.

Ive been alright. I dont own a phone or a laptop so dont have access to the internet on the weekends.

Never got a call back from the GP as promised. Gave my direct work number to the GP but didnt get a call. Cant really do anymore really. I cant go private because if i had my bank card or money i would gamble. Maybe ill get a letter later on in the week.

No Stephen, don't wait, remember you're taking control of this now. You're at work today, so phone the surgery and let them know you've been waiting for a phone call that hasn't come and ask when he/she is likely to contact you. I'm off out to work myself now, but let us know later what they said.

Have a good day!

Twinks is spot on here Stephen....take control of the situation.

Put as much of your energy into this as you would have gambling....call the doctors and ask that is going on. What harm is it going to do??

Ive made plenty of phonecalls at this stage. She said herself its a problem we public health care.

I wont be ringing. I have rang plenty of times this year. I,m not in any control when i have to depend on other people to make a referall. I appreicate the support but im just here to help pass the day in work and vent. I have a s**t life and honestly dont care.
